Sunday in Paris – The Pink Bra Bazaar

Hello again!

Today I was out with Gaelle and Marie at Trocadero to attend the Pink Bra Bazaar.  To quote them directly The Pink Bra Bazaar is ” the first charity uniting women and the world of lingerie (boutiques, manufacturers, designers and media…) to overcome breast cancer. Funds received will support research, prevention, screening and early diagnosis of breast cancer.” Despite a smaller turnout, the event was full of colour and life as women came and hung up a bra on the line to help support and raise funds for Breast Cancer research. To attend the event, everyone was asked to wear black, white and a touch of pink, so I did my best to honor the dress code, although I am now aware that I have less pink in my wardrobe than I originally thought. Check out the pictures from the day below:

What I wore: Black tank top – Gap

Tights – Spanx

Skirt – H&M

Cardigan – UNIQLO

Scarf – Oscar de la Renta

Head wrap – Dollarama – Strawberry shortcake

Sneakers – no name

Pink flower brooch – made by me

Thanks for reading!!

A little visit to the Eiffel Tower!

Hi everyone!

So I went the other day, for the first time to visit the Eiffel Tower, which is clearly not in the cards for me. Each time before that I have made plans to go to the Eiffel Tower, it has either rained, been very cloudy and grey, there has been a train strike or in yesterdays case, a bomb threat at the base, just as I arrived. There was a pram that someone had left, probably while they went up in the tower, with a sweater over top of it, and the Eiffel Tower people assumed it was a bomb and closed the entire area off. So because of the delay, the lineups to go up the tower were horrendous after and we decided to abandon ship. But, no harm done, I can always go another day, should that day have nice weather and no work. Anyways, enough about my silly bad luck and onto my beloved Asos dress. I always think of this as the ultimate blogger dress, because I feel like when it first came out, absolutely every blogger had it. I didn’t get it because I wasn’t in one place long enough to have it shipped to Canada. In the end, I purchased it at a Vide Dressing from Sakina (with Kylanita!).

I’m thinking that even though its a pretty wild print, in the summer it’s cute, even without the tights, and in the winter I can surely throw on a little cardigan and a belt and be set to go. I’ll have to see, but I really love how comfortable and cute it is, so I think I’ll keep it as a regular in my little overflowing closet.

I hope everyone is doing smashingly! And I’m sending good computer vibes to Sakina so her computer and internet will be back up and running soon! We miss you on the blog circuit!!!

xoxo
